Through its international marine activity, its strong international presence and its global growth strategy, BOURBON is developing the ICV (International Corporate Volunteer) office within its international subsidiaries. 

If you're interested in international experience, with the ICV, you can:

  • Join a subsidiary locally and with its team take on a mission with real responsibilities,
  • Acquire significant experience abroad,
  • Boost your career by taking on a position of responsibility after a positive ICV experience

To apply for an assignment with the ICV program, you need a Bac +5 (French high school diploma + five years of study), a certain amount of experience in your area, and knowledge of two languages. You must be multi-cultural and open to international mobility. 

We welcome ICVs in interdepartmental jobs in areas such as Finance, Procurement, Information Technology, Sustainable Development, Quality, Environment, Safety, and Human Resources …

The ICV program is a genuine career booster within BOURBON, since most of the young people participating in this program have been hired for positions of responsibility after their missions.

    I chose to go under an ICV assignment because when you are young and you have just graduated, when you have a goal of working as an expatriate under serious conditions i.e. with a real contract, real compensation, this is the best compromise you can make, both for the company and for voluntarism (since with an ICV, you are an International Volunteer in a French company). This means have a job and responsibilities that I would never have had being so young and with so little experience before joining BOURBON.

    BOURBON takes care of its ICV volunteers in that there is an actual project. If you perform well, if you show that you are motivated, then you can become a real part of the company. The message and the policy of the Company are fairly clear so that you have a real opportunity to grow under this kind of contract.
