Working together for personally-designed integration

Helping employees master their professional environment so they can become operational as quickly as possible, furthering their commitment and the sharing of values: such is BOURBON's integration philosophy.

For BOURBON, integration is designed to fit each individual as soon as he or she joins the company. BOURBON uses a series of tools and resources to integrate new employees, to heighten their awareness of BOURBON's culture and to make certain that its operational, quality and safety standards are transmitted worldwide.

Induction

Upon induction, employees learn about the company, its businesses, its standards, its organization and its operations.

Mentoring

Young graduates or young people with little professional experience are given customized assistance locally and can rely on a mentor. As an essential part of BOURBON, mentors are a guarantee of the best possible integration.

In addition, the Human Resources Department directly monitors every new employee in order to integrate them starting in the first months, take an in-depth look at their career plan and identify their potential for advancement within BOURBON.

In-depth training in BOURBON's operational standards

To hire and train about 5,000 new employees by the year 2015, BOURBON has introduced high skills standards for all its officers. These standards are passed on during integration seminars and practical training sessions, on the AHTS simulator in the BOURBON Training Centers, for example.

Missions and/or assignments abroad

BOURBON is keen on providing vocational training directly through missions or assignments in all its subsidiaries in 30 countries.

Assistance in new duties for newly promoted employees

This assistance helps newly promoted employees to understand the challenges of their position, to learn about BOURBON from a new vantage point, to understand how their new team operates and to develop a new network of contacts.
